Live in historic Five Points/Curtis Park
Founded in the 1860s as one of Denver's first residential suburbs, Five Points is a busy retail, restaurant and services corridor on Welton Street. Bounded by Park Avenue, Downing Street, Stout Street and Tremont Place, the FivePoints, Curtis Park and Ballpark neighborhoods overlap. This area is conveniently linked to the rest of the metro area by RTD's light rail line. Small businesses, restaurants, cafes, and retailers thrive in this resurgent neighborhood. Attractions include the Black American West Museum and the Blair-Caldwell African American Research Library. Curtis Park is a diverse neighborhood; approximately 30 percent of the residents are African-American, 30 percent are Latino, and 40 percent are white.
